The Son of Neptune

Earlier this year I read The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan. I thought it was a fantastic, awesome book. It had lots of description with occasionly hard words. It was a 4 on a scale from one to five.

In the story Percy Jackson, the son of Neptune/ Poseidon is trying to save the world from monstorus giants  and prevent battle with no death with the help his two Roman friends, Hazel and Frank. Hazel is an average girl except for two things. The first thing is that she has a curse. The curse is that dangerous cursed, precious jewels or metals apear around her wherever she is. The other problem is that she has been brought back from the underworld to the land of the living. Frank is Chinese/ Greek/ Roman/ American mix. One of his ancesters, Periclymenus was the grandson of Poseidon and had the ability to chang into any living thing. The down side of that is that his powers were two strong and his life now depends on a half burnt stick of wood.

In the end of the book they stop the giants... for now.
